He did come across as a massive cunt on SOCIAL MEDIA, but that's to be expected.

I do, however, much prefer animals to humans, so I don't mind what he's doing.

22 years service in the Marines
Got the lot inside the airport but they were sent back due to Biden, he went back too
The aircraft he had organised and his charity paid for was civilian, animals in the hold, people not allowed in there
He wanted to take extra evacuees on top of his vets and their families
He does not sign off the transfer paperwork
Only after no further Afghans were allowed transit did he leave, and then at the behest of his colleagues
His charity has done marvellous work repatriating ex service animals with service people across the world who have struggled to cope after tours in Afghanistan

All round a top man who has done more than most in the service of his country and fellow combatants

Still, does not prevent him being called a cunt does it

Fair play to him for galvanising opinion and funds
He pleaded then insisted for the Afghans
And he was fuming when showing pictures of MoD cars being loaded instead of people and once again when flying back that his aircraft could have taken more people
Not sure what he is meant to do?

Comes across to me as somebody who understand what "Being Civilised" is, let down by a large number of self-supporting people who, in reality, only think they know what "Being Civilised" is, and, as such, didn't fully understand how to meet the requirements.

Crassus you need to read the facts not his version of events.

There was no one to take the spare seats, to get people on board would have put our troops at risk because they would have had to go and get them plus the exclusion zone around the airport had been extended and the Taliban wouldn’t let anyone through.

But yeah believe the self publicist.

They could simply have taken the first (insert number of spare seats here) from the front of the "Flying to the UK" queue and added the same number to the back of that queue.

Quite sure that - pre-first-bomb - there would have been enough people around the airport who qualified.

Once word gets out there's more spare seats available, plenty would have made their way back to the airport despite the immediate risks to life & limb.
